Finding Peace Within…

“Happiness is within” Right? That seems to be the answer everyone gives when asked the question, “Where do I find happiness?” If that where the case then why does it seem that our environments control it? We wake up in a good mood and by lunch the world has pissed us off and stolen our happiness.
So what can we do to get back the control of keeping our happiness regardless of what is going on in the world around up?
The bad way…
When people feel unhappy we tend to turn to bad ways to make ourselves feel better. We indulge in addictions or behavior that makes us feel better but those moments only last for a short time and it is only a temporary way to escape our problems. It can also leave you even less unhappy then just dealing with the problem at hand.
ESCAPE is not the answer to an unhappy life.
The good way…
Happiness is not about the “When I have.” We all have a misunderstanding about the material and mental happiness. When we have the car we want, the relationship we want, the bank account we want, the job we want…we will be happy. Again this is depending on our environment to make us happy. That’s all material thinks and sorry to tell you but we will never have enough. You have to make happiness and let happiness to make you. If you can wrap your head around that and truly get it, then nothing in life will hold you down. Research shows that happy people have healthier live with more job and relationship success. So you bring the “When I haves” to you, instead of wasting your life waiting for them to come to you.
SO What Is The Right Way? The only way to be truly happy is to get your head in the game.
What does that mean? Well, it means that you have to reprogram your mind to think only positive things and to look at everything with love and patients. This is not an easy thing since we have all gotten in the habit of looking for the bad things. We use the excuses that it’s because we tell ourselves that to avoid negative thought and people we have to acknowledge them…This is not true. In fact it is what got us in this mind set of bad thinking and to fix it we have to stop it. Just an example of how bad we think: On average if a person was given 10 compliments a day and 1 criticism they would only remember the criticism. I will be posting ways to reprogram your mind to think the thoughts that will change the way you see your world and will bring happiness to you. Stay posted…your life is worth it.
